Southern Iowa Electric Cooperative provides the rural residents of Davis County with very reliable electric service. The Bloomfield Industrial Park's electrical needs are also serviced and supplied by Southern Iowa Electric Cooperative. The city of Bloomfield has a municipal utility to provide all of the needs of its residents including electric, water, and sewer. Lake Fisher provides a very clean and dependable water source that the community is proud to call its own. Lake Fisher is also the home of the current state of Iowa record Large Mouth Bass.
Alliant Energy provides power to the remaining smaller communities in Davis County, including Pulaski, Drakesville, and Floris.
